What’s the best thing about working at Children’s?
Working with a group of nurses, physicians and providers who truly believe they can make cancer a curable disease. And, more importantly, working with patients and families, who are working with us to beat this disease, one patient at a time.
What do you like most about the work you do as a member of the Cancer and Blood Disorders team?
Every day is unique, challenging and never dull!
What makes Children’s Cancer and Blood Disorders Program unique?
We are a clinical research program that serves a large, diverse population of children from the Pacific Northwest and beyond, and we have a broad area of expertise that encompasses every facet of pediatric hematology and oncology.
What made you want to come to Children’s?
To work with my colleagues, live in the Pacific Northwest and work in a facility that supports clinical research.
What do people say when they find out you work here?
After they are saddened by pediatric cancer, they praise Seattle Children's and often know a child who was treated here.
